One UI 5.0 allows you to completely disable RAM Plus on your Samsung device
With the Galaxy A52s smartphone, Samsung debuted the virtual RAM feature called RAM Plus, which was rolled out to more Galaxy devices with firmware updates. Later on, Samsung introduced the customizable RAM Plus with up to 8GB of virtual RAM choice with the One UI 4.1.

When enabled, the RAM Plus feature occupies a specific part of the phone’s internal memory in order to boost the apps’ performance on Galaxy devices. However, all Galaxy fans don’t find RAM Plus feature useful, so Samsung has now added an option to disable the virtual RAM.

In late October, the Korean tech giant started Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update rollout. The changelog of the Samsung One UI 5.0 update mentions more options for RAM Plus, as result, you can now completely disable it in Device care if you don’t need it or don’t want it to use any storage space.
One UI 4.1 RAM Plus
After upgrading your Galaxy phones to the latest Samsung One UI 5.0 version, you will be able to completely disable the RAM Plus feature. To access the RAM Plus functionality, you need to navigate to the device Settings >> Battery and device care >> Memory >> RAM Plus.
