Odyssey Neo G9: The World’s First Dual UHD Curved Gaming Monitor

Samsung Neo G9 monitor features a 57-inch size that is about 37% (area-based) larger than the previous model (49-inch), with a curved design with a curvature of 1000R and is the world’s first gaming monitor that supports dual UHD resolution (7,680 x 2,160).  The 57-inch dual UHD resolution connected two 32-inch UHD resolution panels together.

Notably, among monitors, the world’s first DP 2.1 standard is supported, enabling the highest level of picture quality. The DP 2.1 standard has a data transmission speed that is almost twice as fast as that of DP 1.4, and a visually lossless compression DSC codec that can transmit image information without distortion.

In addition, it uses Quantum Mini LEDs which are 1/40th the size (on a height basis) of existing LEDs. Furthermore, this monitor features a 240Hz high refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 Ports, Freesync Premium Pro, Light reflection, and more.

Odyssey OLED G9: 240Hz High Refresh Rate and 0.1ms Response Speed

Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 will come with a 49-inch OLED panel that can adjust the brightness in pixel units and supports a high refresh rate of up to 240Hz and a response speed of 0.1ms (GTG) close to real-time.

It is a gaming monitor that supports a 32:9 widescreen screen and dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution in a curved design with a curvature of 1800R.

Viewfinity S9: 5K High-Resolution Professional Monitor

Samsung will also introduce the Viewfinity S9 monitor with a 27-inch display that expresses 99% color based on DCI-P3 at 5K (5,120 x 2,880) resolution with about 15 million pixels, four times more than QHD, and the standard deviation of color distortion.

In addition to the “Hardware Calibration” function that enables precise image quality corrections such as white balance and gamma, it also supports “Smart Correction” which can easily correct image quality with a smartphone app. Moreover, it supports both USB Type C and Thunderbolt 4, so it works with a wide variety of mobile devices.

Smart Monitor M8: Center of SmartThings Ecosystem

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 will be available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, and in four colors – Warm White, Sunset Pink, Spring Green, and Daylight Blue.

The new 2023 models are characterized by being able to automatically connect, control and manage based on the SmartThings Hub which supports the Matter and HCA (Home Connectivity Alliance) standards.

Through this, for the first time, the ‘My Contents’ function has been supported. When a mobile device and a monitor are connected via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), it recognizes the user on the monitor and provides basic information such as date and time, as well as customized information such as photos and schedules provides. is displayed on the monitor.
