At CES 2023, Samsung will showcase the world’s first “Flex Hybrid” that combines two innovative technologies – the foldable and the slideable. This product uses folding technology on the left side of the screen and sliding technology on the right side.

When folded to the left, the screen measures 10.5 inches with a 4.3 aspect ratio. It has a 16:10 ratio screen and a large 12.4-inch screen when stretched to the right. You can get an amazing experience of movies and YouTube on the display.

In September at 2022 Intel Innovation, the 17-inch large-screen sliding display announced by Samsung Display CEO Joo-sung will also be officially unveiled at this CES. This 17-inch display has two uses – Flex Slidable Solo and Flex Slidable Duet, which can extend the screen in one or two directions.

This is a product that you can normally carry or use on a tablet size of a 13-inch to 14 inch and expand the screen to a 17.3-inch size when you need to multitask or enjoy movies or gaming content. Notably, the product’s screen size and portability are comparable to large-screen laptops and are highly anticipated by consumers as the future laptop design.

Furthermore, Samsung Display completes its lineup for 2023 by adding QD-OLED for ultra-large 77-inch TVs and QD-OLED for 49-inch ultra-wide displays to 55-inch, 65-inch, and 34-inch products.

Specifically, the 2023 model implemented more advanced AI technology and the latest organic materials, combined with the maximum brightness of each RGB brightness increased to over 2,000 nits, and once again achieved tremendous image quality.

Samsung Display said, “By applying high-efficiency organic materials and advanced artificial intelligence technology, the ‘QD-OLED 2023’ consumes 25% less power than the 2022 model. Even on a bright screen, you will be able to enjoy true-to-slide accurate colors and more vibrant and rich picture quality.”

Samsung Display is targeting the expected fast-growing autonomous vehicle market and changing vehicle design trends. The company will release Cockpit for the first time. It is a digital cockpit (digital car cockpit) display that combines 34-inch and 15.6-inch displays.

It features a large screen and narrow bezels, which can be used as a large entertainment display in autopilot mode. In addition, it is equipped with bendable technology, which can bend the left and right sides of the screen up to 700R, providing the driver with the best viewing distance in driving mode and helping the driver focus on driving.

In the “OLED Grow Green” exhibition area, Samsung Display will introduce environmentally friendly and low power consumption technologies that reduce greenhouse gas production, as well as the recycling process of glass, a nonreplaceable resource in the OLED production process.
