Samsung launches Galaxy A14 5G

On January 4, Samsung officially launched its first smartphone of 2023 — Galaxy A14 5G, which features a new Exynos chipset, runs Android 13, and packs a big battery along with great software support. The company will start selling the device in European markets starting April 2023.

According to the information, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone brings a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with the new Exynos 1330 chipset and paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

Talking about the camera specs, the Galaxy A14 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera and 2MP depth and macro cameras. On the front, the smartphone has an upgraded camera sensor of 13MP resolution for selfies and video calling.

Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy A14 5G boasts a 5000mAh battery. In software department, the device runs Android 13-based One UI 5.0 out of the box, which makes it eligible for OS upgrades up to Android 15. In addition, it will have support for regular software updates until 2027.

As per the info, the Galaxy A14 5G will be available in four color shades including Black, Silver, Dark Red and Light Green. In Europe, costs 229 euros for the 4GB+64GB variant and shipments will begin in April this year. At present, there is no information about availability outside Europe.
