How to display your Samsung phone’s battery percentage on lock screen

Published

on

To get an accurate sense of how long your phone’s battery life is, it’s helpful to see a specific number for your battery life rather than a solid green or red bar. Hence, Samsung gives you the ability to display the battery percentage on the lock screen itself. Now you don’t need to unlock your phone or open the quick settings panel to check it.

The status bar on your Samsung phone contains a variety of symbols and icons. The top right corner is dedicated to your device’s major status, while the left is used for app notifications. When you turn on the option to display battery percentage, it will show in the right corner, just beside your battery.

Do note that displaying battery percentage does not harm your phone’s battery life but constantly turning on your phone screen to check battery life is not good for the battery you have left. It will just gradually run the battery down. So if your phone is already running out of battery, we suggest you not turn on the display to check it multiple times.
