How to enable/disable call forwarding on Samsung phones

In many cases, we are unable to receive calls, we can be busy on another call or there can be network issues. At this time, the Call forwarding feature on your Samsung phone can help you out.

Once you enable Call forwarding on your device, you won’t miss any important calls as it allows you to transfer calls to a different number whenever you are busy, your phone is unreachable, or you don’t answer.

You can also choose to always forward your calls to a specific number. And, when you are done using this feature, you can disable it. To enable or disable the Call Forwarding feature on your Samsung phone, follow the easy steps mentioned below:

How to enable or disable call forwarding on Samsung:

To enable call forwarding on your Samsung phone, first, go to the “Phone app’. Now tap on the “More” option (three-dot menu) and enter “Settings”. Scroll down and tap on the “Supplementary services” option.

Tap Call forwarding from SIM 1 or SIM 2. Now tap “Voice calls”. Here, you will see the “Call forwarding” option. You will see four options:

  • Always forward
  • Forward when busy
  • Forward when unanswered
  • Forward when unreached

Select one (for example, Forward when busy) and add a number where you want to forward your calls. and finally, tap the “Turn on” button.

Meanwhile, to disable call forwarding, again tap on the option where you enabled call forwarding (we did for “Forward when busy”). And, lastly, tap the “Disable” button.
