To fasten the Android 13 rollout, Samsung has given less time to the development of the One UI 5.0. All eligible Galaxy models started to receive the new operating system with One UI 5.0 update in 2022 itself.

One UI 5.0 user interface changes, new features, and tweaks are not so praisable and I think it’s not the one we’ve expected from Samsung. And naturally, it makes me wait for the One UI 5.1 version as I’m skipping Galaxy S23.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S23 series smartphones will use Snapdragon chipset worldwide, bringing a bulk of happiness to European countries, at the same time, a new software (One UI 5.1) will be the cherry on the cake.

With great hardware, the combination of optimized software will deliver outstanding performance on he Galaxy S23 series. New phones may have some new AI-derived feature, which I want on my Galaxy S22 Ultra, why not?

With the Galaxy S22, the Korean tech giant introduced the Nightography feature, which makes night photography epic. This time, the feature is reportedly coming to the video and selfie camera as well, thanks to the One UI 5.1.

Google’s variant of Material You design language is just mind-blowing, and Samsung needs to just copy that on Galaxy. The current appearance is not as good as rivals, so, One UI 5.1 should follow Google for dynamic theming.

In the recent past, Samsung Newsroom post confirmed the existence of the One UI 5.1 software version. And the blog article mentioned that some of the lock screen personalization features will be available in the One UI 5.1.

As One UI 5.0 update makes lock screen personalization wonderful, more are coming soon with the One UI 5.1. In addition, some features that are currently missing in the 5.0 version must make a comeback next month.
