Samsung is ready to launch all three Galaxy S23 series phones on February 1. However, reports claim that the company might not introduce the Plus model from next year. It means, Galaxy S23+ is the last Samsung flagship Plus model, so will you buy it?
Since 2020, Samsung has been presenting the vanilla, Plus, and Ultra variants of its flagship Galaxy S series phones. The Ultra is obviously the top model of the series that comes with the most advanced features and some extra functions compared to the other ones, whereas, the standard features slightly low-end specifications.

Meanwhile, the Plus variant is the upper model of vanilla but is slightly a downgrade version of Ultra. It features the same design as the base model however, the Ultra model shares some specs with it. Also, it comes with a reliable price tag.

However, Samsung is reportedly ditching the Plus model as it is less popular than the other two phones of the series. Earlier reports have suggested that the Korean company will not launch Galaxy S24+ smartphone so, if you are a fan of the Galaxy S Plus, you should buy the Samsung Galaxy S23+ model as you might not get the chance to grab this variant in the coming years.

The Galaxy S23+ will come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display similar to the S22+, however, the company has reduced its bezel size, which is the thinnest out of the whole lineup.
For performance, Samsung has brought the Galaxy-specific Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset worldwide. The device will further feature a bigger 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast charge support and the latest software which is Android 13-based One UI 5.1.
Next, the phone will come with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Whereas, the front side will have a 12MP selfie shooter, which is an upgrade from S22+’s 10MP shooter.
