The latest Galaxy Watch 5 update brought Samsung phone zoom feature support to the Camera Controller app. The update release note mentioned that flagship Galaxy models launched after the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Z Flip will get One UI 5.1 update soon.

Since there’s still confusion about whether the Galaxy S20 and Z Flip devices would get the One UI 5.1 or not, but, the company hinted that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite are no longer eligible. As both devices launched before the S20 flagships, the One UI 5.1 update may not release.

Samsung rolled out the Android 13 update to the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, then, we expected the One UI 5.1 version as a farewell release. Since both devices are flagships but with affordable tags and launched before the Galaxy S20 and Flip, there are no chances of One UI 5.1 arrival.

At the Unpacked next month, the South Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy S23 series smartphones. The upcoming flagships run the new One UI 5.1 software out of the box, which will be rolled out to older flagship models launched after the S20 and Flip 4.

Samsung may still bring the One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series’s Lite models, but, the possibility is less now. We are just guessing it could happen as the S10 and Note 10 series received One UI 4.1, after ending support at Android 12.

One UI 5.1 Features

Over its parent version, the One UI 5.1 will bring a more optimized system for great application and functional performance. There will be more new tools for lock screen customization, home screen battery widgets, English support for Bixby Text Call and more.
