Samsung has started rolling out the January 2023 Android security patch update for Galaxy A52s smartphones that install the Maintenance mode features alongside security improvements.

Maintenance mode is a feature of One UI 5.0 software. The Galaxy A52s has grabbed this update a couple of months ago but due to some unknown reasons, the company didn’t install this feature on all its smartphones. But now it is gradually releasing the feature for eligible devices.

For your information, Maintenance mode is Samsung’s new security feature that takes care of your privacy when someone else is using your phone. Once you turn this feature on, it will automatically switch your phone to a new guest user account that doesn’t have access to any of your data to maintain your privacy.

On the other hand, the January 2023 Android security patch further fixes around six dozen vulnerabilities and exposures found in Galaxy devices. These include 52 CVEs from Google’s Android OS and 20 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.

It is worth mentioning that the update is rolling out in some Asian markets at the present time. However, the company should not take much time to spread it to more users all over the world. As for now, you can identify the Samsung Galaxy A52s update that brings Maintenance mode through the One UI build version A528BXXU1DWA4.
