Samsung One UI 5.0 Weather Widget gets January 2023 update

Samsung Weather Widget allows you to check important information like the place, temperature, UN index, and day/night on your smartphone’s home screen. Now, Samsung is improving its Weather Widget feature through a January 2023 update.

The new update fixes some issues that users may face in the last version to enhance the stability and performance of the app. However, the update does not contain any new features or changes but you will surely get a smoother experience after installing.

January 2023 update for Samsung Weather Widget comes with version 1.6.50.62 and an installation package size of 25.75 MB. Eligible Galaxy device users can install the latest update via Galaxy Store >> Tap on the Menu icon >> Click on the Updates.

You can also download it via the third-party source link mentioned here. Notably, the update is compatible with Galaxy devices running from One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 to Android 9 Pie.

To add Weather Widget on your smartphone’s home screen, you just need to follow a few steps. Firstly, tap and hold on the blank space on the home screen >> Widgets >> Scroll down and click on Weather >> Choose any widget and press Add.
