Samsung has already rolled out the January 2023 update to a bunch of Galaxy devices and now it is the turn of the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Xcover Pro, and Galaxy Xcover 5 to receive the latest security patch.

The latest January 2023 update comes with fixes for a handful of issues and vulnerabilities found in Google’s Android operating system and Samsung’s One UI software. These include 52 CVEs and 20 SVEs, which were majorly affecting the phone’s security and its users’ privacy.

In addition, the current software update also focuses on enhancing the system’s stability to reduce errors like crashing, lagging, or freezing. Aside from this, you might also notice some performance improvements after installing this update.

January 2023 update is rolling out for carrier-locked Galaxy XCoverPro models in the US and International variants of Galaxy XCover 5.

On the other side, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE January 2023 security patch is available in Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.

It is an initial rollout so it may take hours/days to reach your device, you can manually check the update by opening the Settings app on your smartphone >> Tap on the Software Update >> Click on the Download and install option.
