Identified via  One UI build version G977BXXSDHWA3, the latest update improves the security, stability, and performance of the devices.

Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+, and S10e smartphone users have started collecting the fresh January 2023 Android security patch update. The update is initially dispatching in Europe with customers in Switzerland first getting access to it.

It’s worth meeting that Samsung has officially ended the major software update support for these Galaxy S10 phones. However, the company is regularly delivering new security patches for the devices in order to maintain the user experience.

The latest January 2023 update comes with fixes for a handful of issues and vulnerabilities found in Google’s Android operating system and Samsung’s One UI software. These include 52 CVEs and 20 SVEs, which were majorly affecting the phone’s security and its users’ privacy.

You can identify this update for your S10 through One UI build version G973FXXSGHWA3 while the same update for S10e and S10+ devices can be identified via G970FXXSGHWA3 and G975FXXSGHWA3 versions, respectively.

Samsung has released a new update with the November 2024 security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones. The update is available for users in Korea and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

November 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones F731NKSU4DXK8 and F946NKSU4DXK8 respectively. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

The fresh security patch fixes 52 vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung software. Google has patched 38 high-level issues, and one CVE doesn’t apply to Galaxy devices. Samsung has also addressed 13 issues, including bugs related to multiple users, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and Settings.
