Verizon releases January 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3 [US]

Verizon has started rolling out the January 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in the US. The new update installs the latest Android patch to improve system security and stability for a better experience.

The latest security patch protects your device from unwanted and annoying bugs and viruses by fixing 52 CVEs from Google’s Android OS and 20 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software. It addresses a handful of privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities to enhance the overall system functionality.

January 2023 update for Verizon Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with One UI build version F926USQS2EWA2 and F711USQS3EWA2 in the US.

It is worth mentioning that Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices already received January 2023 updates in some countries and the company will soon make them available for all eligible foldable devices.

Users can manually install the latest software update on their Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 from their device Settings >> System Update >> Download and Install. Restart your device and it’s done.
