People often use portrait photography features to capture images of certain subjects, blurring the background stuff. It’s possible with just a single camera sensor using artificial intelligence, while smartphone vendors make a collaboration of two different lenses for better portraits.

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone produces epic portrait shots including photos and videos. In rare cases, the separation of focused and blurred subjects shows imperfect due to environmental conditions or motion. It’s going to be upgraded with the Galaxy S23 Ultra as Samsung insider claims.

For the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus, the source didn’t claim anything related to portrait photography. However, Ice earlier revealed that the Galaxy S23 series devices feature upgraded video capture capabilities, including support for 8K at 30fps (previous models topped out at 24fps).

In terms of camera, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus include a 50MP primary sensor, which is well-optimized with the software. Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, features a futuristic 200MP camera sensor, which can turn into 12.5MP or 50MP itself.

As reported, the Galaxy S23 series uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset manufactured at the foundry of TSMC. Ice says the thermals of the Galaxy S23 Ultra are “relatively good,” which means the smartphone may not heat too much while using the camera for a long duration.
