Samsung Galaxy S22 January 2023 update now available in India

Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones users already received January 2023 update in several countries and the company is now finally expanding this update in India. The new update installs the latest Android security patch to enhance device security and stability.

The update improves several functions of the device to provide a seamless experience. The latest security patch fixes around six dozen vulnerabilities and exposures found in Galaxy devices. These include 52 CVEs from Google’s Android OS and 20 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.

January 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in India come with One UI build versions S901EXXS2BWA2, S906EXXS2BWA2, and S908EXXS2BWA2 respectively.

The installation package size of the latest update is above 300 MB, you can install it to get a smoother usability experience. If you don’t know, then you can manually check and install the latest update by visiting Settings on your Galaxy smartphone, then clicking on the Download and install option following the Software Update section.

Aside from this, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones received the second January 2023 update in some regions. The second update of January month fixes some common issues and enhances system security.
