According to 9to5Google, the new Material You update gives a more customized and decent look to the Google app. The Google app now uses a Material You aligned bottom bar with pill-shaped indicator buttons that match the search filters carousel design.

To be mentioned, the standard long version found in almost every other first-party app is now the shorter version, although Gmail uses something even shorter.

After Messages and the web, the Google app is the latest app to get a modern account switcher. Now tapping your profile avatar reveals a switcher that uses Material You with dynamic colors.

The inner side of the account switcher container has several options like search history, deleting the last 15 minutes, results about you, and reminders. And outside is a Google logo at the top, as well as Search, Settings, and your data in Help and Feedback at the bottom.

You can also see an amazing separation on the Setting’s long lists menu of the Google app while the options remain the same. We can say that the new beta update has given a new look to the Google app.
