One UI 5.1 coming soon to Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (LTE), internal testing underway

Samsung will introduce the new One UI 5.1 software for Galaxy devices alongside the Galaxy S23 series on February 1. Ahead of this, the company is internally testing it for various eligible devices, with Samsung Galaxy S20 FE LTE being the latest to test One UI 5.1 indoors.

CheckFirm has spotted the new One UI 5.1 firmware for Galaxy S20 FE LTE smartphone customers that you can recognize through the build version G780FXXUAFWA8. The CSC code for this test built is “INS”, which belongs to the Indian unit.

This firmware only suggets that the company has begun cooking One UI 5.1 for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE so that users won’t have to meet any issues and errors after installing it. But it nowhere mentions the schedule for when the update will go live.

On the other hand, the device is expected to get the big One UI 5.1 update in late February or early March. Whereas, the initial rollout, starting Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Z Fold 4, Flip 4, should begin in mid-February.
