Samsung Exynos 2400 chipset begins mass production, samples to deliver by June 2023 [Report]

Samsung didn’t install Exynos chipset in its latest Galaxy S23 smartphones but it does not mean that the company has stopped focusing on it. A new report suggests that Samsung is working on the flagship Exynos 2400 chipset and has begun mass production.

Earlier reports have revealed that the Korean smartphone maker is manufacturing its dream chipset that will offer improved and smoother performance and until then the company will be using the Qualcomm chipsets in its S series phones.

On the other hand, leaks also suggets that Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphones in Korea will equip an Exynos chipset, which should be Exynos 2400 to test if the experiments are going in the right direction.

Meanwhile, a rumor from South Korea’s tech forum (via NoteBookCheck) – Meeco says that the upcoming Samsung Exynos 2400 SoC has been approved for mass production. In addition, the information also suggets that the first samples of the chipset will be delivered by June 2023.

Samsung’s TM Roh is closely monitoring the manufacturing of the Exynos 2400 chipset. The standard Galaxy S24 will reportedly use the Exynos 2400 chipset with a higher 12GB RAM.

The exact CPU of the processor is currently unknown. Meanwhile, a leak suggets that it will feature a 10-core, quad-cluster design, while another says it will stick to a tri-cluster, 8-core configuration. On the other side, the GPU will be RDNA, it could be RDNA 2 or RDNA 3.
