Galaxy S23 Ultra Camera close-up feature:
The new close-up feature on your Galaxy phone’s camera works just as the name suggests. It will help you do a camera close-up while capturing pictures a little easier.
Close-up focus enhancement is activated when you bring the camera lens closer to the subject for close-up shots, convert it into an Ultra-wide-angle camera with a camera lens optimized for close-up shots
At this time, it may appear that the position of the shooting target or subject is changed on the shooting screen. It is a handle feature for people who usually capture close-up shots, however, if you do not want to use the close-focus enhancement function, you can also disable it.
You can easily toggle the feature on and off by tapping the Close focus enhancement icon on the shooting screen. See the screenshots below:
Availability:
As per the information, Samsung will only expand the Camera close-up feature of the Galaxy S23 Ultra model to select older Galaxy devices. These include Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Maybe, the feature will be able for the lower-end version of S23, S22, and S21 or some other models, but for now, the moderator only mentioned that the top three Ultra models support it.
