Samsung is expanding the Galaxy A14 January 2023 Android security patch update to Verizon consumers in the United States. The latest update slightly improves the device’s performance to maintain the users’ experience.
At the same time, it also addresses 72 privacy and security-concerned vulnerabilities and exposures to protect the data saved in the phone. The updated version is A146USQU1AWA6.

Samsung is rolling out the first software update for its budget smartphone of the year – the Galaxy A14 5G. This update installs the most up-to-date Samsung January 2023 Android security patch for the Galaxy A14 users.
As per the information, the latest software does not bring anything new for the device users. It only aims to enhance the stability and security of the device’s system and its user’s privacy in order to further built the trust of users in One UI security.

Additionally, the company’s January 2023 patch addresses a handful of issues and vulnerabilities, which include 20 Galaxy-specific exposures that were affecting various One UI apps and services. At the same time, it also brings fixes for 52 CVEs as a part of Google’s Android security bulletin.
Furthermore, Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy A14 January 2023 Android security patch update with One UI built version A146BXXU1AWA2. It is currently live in India, however, the company should not take much time in spreading it in other countries.
In case your phone has not yet sent you an update notification, you can check it manually through the Settings app. Just head over to the Software update section and tap on the Download and install option.
