Samsung Galaxy M52, M13 installs January 2023 security update 

Samsung is delivering the fresh February 2023 Android security patches to its eligible Galaxy phones, at the same time, it is also taking care of the users who have not got the last month’s security patch. In a recent development, Samsung starts releasing the January 2023 Android security patch update for Galaxy M52 and Galaxy M13 LTE smartphones.

The main purpose of Samsung’s January 2023 patch is to optimize the security and stability of the device’s system so that users can get bug-free and seamless functionality over their devices.

In addition, the company also fixes a lot of issues and vulnerabilities with the update that was harming the Galaxy phone’s security and its users’ privacy.

These include around six dozen errors, such as 52 CVEs as a part of Google’s Android security bulletin and 20 Galaxy-specific exposures that are affecting One UI apps and services.

Software version:

Samsung Galaxy M52 is gaining the January 2023 security update with build version M526BXXS2CWA2 and the customers of Galaxy M13 can identify it through the firmware version M135MUBS1BWA1.

The update is rolling out for Indian and Brazilian customers of M52 and M13, respectively. In case you haven’t yet got the update notification, you can check it manually through Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
