According to tipster OreXda, it’s possible that Samsung may cancel the Exynos 2400’s mass production as well. Similar to the Exynos 2300 case, the company might produce a prototype product as part of practical internal testing by employees. Besides, One UI optimization unit is pending development in MX.
Ditching Exynos 2300 and 2400, Samsung is aiming to introduce the Exynos 2500 processor, which might be renamed at the time of launch. The tipster also hinted at Exynos 2500 features, including the goal of performance standards, a 10-core CPU, twice redesigned Xclipse GPU, and NPU in collab with Google.

In a processor, NPU (neural processing unit) is a specialized circuit that implements all the necessary control and arithmetic logic necessary to execute machine learning algorithms, typically by operating on predictive models such as artificial neural networks (ANNs) or random forests (RFs).
Google’s Tensor and Tensor G2 chipsets are produced by Samsung Foundry, which offers powerful features derived from AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning. The company may collaborate with Google to bring the best AI tech to its dream processor.
In the recent past, it was reported that Samsung has approved the production of the Exynos 2400 processor. Moreover, it was rumored that the vanilla Galaxy S24 might use Exynos 2400 in some regions, with keeping Snapdragon for the remaining two models.
