Samsung officially introduced the new One UI 5.1 software alongside the Galaxy S23 phones. Now it’s time for older Galaxy devices to get this update. Recently, the latest One UI 5.1 test builds for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21, and Galaxy S20 have appeared alongside the February 2023 patch.

It seems like public One UI 5.1 updates for these Galaxy flagship phones are ready to release. Galaxy S22, S21, and S20 customers are likely to get the big One UI 5.1 update alongside the February 2023 patch in the coming week.

New test firmware:

  • Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908NKSU2CWB3
  • Galaxy S21 Ultra – G998NKSU3EWB1
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra – G988NKSU2IWB3

It is worth mentioning that Canadian carrier Fido Mobile recently posted its new software update support page, which mentions One UI 5.1 update rollout will begin on February 22 in Canada, and the Galaxy S22/S22+/S22 Ultra, Fold 4, and Flip 4 will get this update first.

However, we expect the update to go live even before February 22 as the company usually releases late updates in Canada. Besides these five devices, all other eligible premium Galaxy phones will also get the update in February itself.

One UI 5.1 features:

One UI 5.1 will install a lot of new features and changes to the Galaxy devices, such as smoother animations, a new Battery Status widget, a GIF Remaster, an Image Clipper, new picture editing tools, Multi Control feature, additional camera features, and much more.

At the same time, the Good Lock’s Camera Assistant module, which was only limited to Galaxy S22, will also expand to more flagship Samsung devices. Check the list here.
