Bring functional improvements to Samsung Dual Messenger via new update

Samsung offers a Dual Messenger feature that lets you create two different accounts for the same messaging app. In addition, it allows you to make a separate contact list for them. Notably, Dual Messenger only supports certain models and apps.

Currently, the Korean tech giant is releasing a new update for the Samsung Dual Messenger app with version 3.4.00.0. The new release brings general improvements to boost the performance of the app. As per the official notes, the update does not include any new features or changes but surely provides an enhanced Galaxy experience.

The latest version is currently rolling out for limited devices as it is an initial rollout so it may take days/weeks to reach all eligible devices. If you are eligible, then your device will soon receive this update. The update might be installed automatically on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone after a software update.

You can easily use this feature by following a few steps. Firstly, open Settings >> Scroll down and tap on the Advanced features >> Click on the Dual Messenger option. Now, tap on the Toggle located next to the app you want to use a different account from the list of supported apps, then tap Install Now. Read the disclaimer and tap Confirm to continue. The second app is now installed.

April 2023 update of the Samsung Dual Messenger app is available on Galaxy Store with an updated package size of 3.84 megabytes. It is compatible with Galaxy devices running from Android 13-based One UI 5.0/One UI 5.1 to the below version to Android 10.
