February 10, 2023 – Europe …

Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has begun collecting a new software update that installs the latest February 2023 Android security patch. This update is rolling out in Europe, with consumers living in Spain getting the update first.

On the other hand, Samsung mentions a handful of vulnerabilities and exposure fixes in its February 2023 SMR. These include 5 Critical and 43 High levels of CVEs as a part of Google’s Android security bulletin.

At the same time, the fixes also include 7 Galaxy-specific SVEs that were affecting various One UI apps and services. Besides these, the latest update does not bring anything worth praising.

However, a big One UI 5.1 update could be coming soon to the devices. Judging from Samsung’s previous software releases, the Galaxy S10 Lite should get access to One UI 5.1 but an official statement suggets it will not get the update.

Only time can tell whether the device owners will be lucky enough to taste the new features and changes of the One UI 5.1 software or not. For now, users have to satisfy with minor security improvements.

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung is dispatching the Galaxy S10 Lite February 2023 update with One UI built version G770FXXS6HWB1 in Europe. It should soon expand to more customers living in other regions.
