Since above listed Galaxy device started getting the One UI 5.1 update, Image Clipper is not accessible. The tipster notes that a new Gallery app update will unlock this clever feature on Galaxies. This Gallery feature might become available to non-One UI 5.1 devices too.
Samsung Image Clipper features eligible devices:
- Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra
- Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra
- Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra
- Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Fold 2, Fold 3, and Fold 4

Talking about functionality, the One UI 5.1’s Image Clipper feature lets Galaxy S23 smartphone users tap, hold, and grab the subject from an image or video (paused). It’s part of the Gallery app, using which, you can copy, share, or save the cropped subject as a new image.
