Samsung brings Android 13/One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A04

Samsung Galaxy A04 smartphone users have started collecting their first major software update – Android 13. While some Galaxy phone users have already started collecting the latest One UI 5.1, the Android 13 update for Galaxy A04 only installs the One UI 5.0 software.

Anyways, this update drops a handful of new features and improvements for the users. Additionally, it brings major user interface changes so that consumers can experience the feel of a new smartphone.

According to the official changelog, Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update adds multiple customization options for the Lock screen. Also, you can now modify your lock screen settings from the lock screen itself, you don’t need to visit Settings, etc.

Furthermore, the company adds Stack widgets features that let you create a group of widgets with easily touch and hold option. Whereas, the Per-app language feature allows the customers to use different apps in different languages and the Notification permission provides you more control over your system notifications.

The company additionally brings a Lockdown mode feature for enhanced users privacy. At the same time, there’s a new Security and Privacy menu in the system settings that lets you manage all related functions in one place.

Aside from this, there is the Extract text from image feature that will allow you to copy text from images and paste it into messages or notes. The new multitasking gestures brings the ability to use pop-up window and split-screen with ease.

In addition to all these new features, the One UI 5.0 update also brings some major changes to the One UI apps. For example, the Camera app is getting a new Watermark feature, Help guide, Historogram, and other features. The Gallery app is receiving improved editing tools, and more.

You will also notice changes in the Edge Panels, Samsung Internet, Samsung Camera, Good Lock, Samsung DeX, and many other apps and services of Samsung One UI software.

Samsung is releasing the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A04 with built version A045FXXU1BWB1. It is currently available for customers living in Kazakhstan (via), however, could soon reach other regions.
