Samsung is delivering the most up-to-date February 2023 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US. To be precise, the update is limited to unlocked T-Mobile and AT&T customers at present and might soon expand to other carriers in the country.

For your information, the February 2023 patch for your Galaxy device brings improvements to system security and stability. Also, it optimizes the device’s performance in every possible aspect.

Aside from these, Samsung also shared the details of this month’s security patch and it shows fixes for over 60 privacy and security-related issues and exploits. These include 48 CVEs from Google’s Android OS and 7 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.

It’s worth mentioning that Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra February 2023 update carries One UI build version N981U1UES3GWA3 and N986U1UES3GWA3, respectively. It bears a package size of just 278MB.

Samsung has introduced the One UI 5.1 software with the new Galaxy S23 series phones. Now the company is gearing up to release this big software update for older Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Note 20.

It is expected that Galaxy S22 will grab the update first and soon after this, the update will start reaching older flagship phones, probably within a couple of weeks.
