Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite gets Android 13 and One UI 5.0 [P610]

Update [February 17]: Samsung released Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite users in Europe. The update is arriving for the Tab S6 Lite tablet carrying model number SM-P610 with firmware version P610XXU2FWA5 and November 2022 security patch.

The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update brings various features such as text extraction that allow you to copy text content directly from the camera viewfinder or image stored in Gallery. For mobile phones, there are new additions in Good Lock customization suite including Camera AssistantDropship and RegiStar.

For Galaxy devices, Samsung’s Android 13 update is a significant switch. With the new One UI 5 software, the company is bringing a Samsung-exclusive user interface, which is a lot better than Stock Android along with enhanced visuals, animations and more.

How to update

Samsung consumers can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.

 


 

Update [Jan 20]: Samsung has now released the most-awaited Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 model. As of now, the availability is limited to the LTE variant with the latest firmware version – P615XXU4FWA5.

 


 

Initial story [Dec 7]: Samsung has already updated the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S7 lineups with Android 13 OS. Now, the company is rolling out the Stable One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablets with a new firmware update. Notably, the update is currently releasing in France.

According to the information, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet users have begun grabbing the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Users in France and other European markets can identify the package via build version P619XXU1BVK6, as per availability.

Earlier, the Korean tech giant delivered the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 upgrade for its tablet lineup, optimizing the system’s performance and usability. One step ahead, the company is now bringing new features, improved visual effects and a lot more with Android 13.
