Samsung’s new Dynamic Weather Widget can be changed in 2 sizes once you add it to the home screen. But it’s worth noting that only the large size with a vertical footprint supports the full set of animations.

The company has added animation to weather widgets with the One UI 5.1 update. These animations feature a person’s character, who walks in frames created for the occasion, to signify the weather.

If it’s sunny, in the widget you can see a stylized drawing of a person holding a water bottle. If it is snowing, the widget shows a person wearing a scarf. The dynamic weather widget shows a person holding his coat or an umbrella in windy or rainy weather. Out of 6 types of weather, it shows animation on only 4 types.

It is worth mentioning that the animations last about four seconds, and they don’t loop. But when you click on the refresh button, the animation starts again.
