We have officially witnessed the beautiful and durable design of the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra at the Unpacked event held on February 1. Samsung claims that it has designed these Galaxy S23 series phones keeping the planet in mind, which means, it’s made of various recycled items.

The Galaxy S23 series brings both high performance and sustainability for the ultimate premium experience. To achieve this, the company incorporated recycled items into more device components than any other previous Galaxy smartphone. Also, the packaging box is made of 100% recycled paper.

Samsung manufacturers have also increased the recycled materials in the S23 devices. It has raised the six internal components made from eco-conscious materials used in the Galaxy S22 Ultra to twelve internal and external components incorporating recycled materials in the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

In addition to this, the company also used a wide variety of recycled materials, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, for use in Galaxy devices. Continuing to use recycled materials in Galaxy devices, has helped the company reduce its impact on the environment.

The use of recycled ocean plastic in the Galaxy S23 series could prevent more than 15 tons of fishing nets from entering the world’s oceans by the end of 2023, helping to reduce ocean pollution.

What’s more, the Galaxy S23 series is also built to last with durability and reparability, making it reliable for years to come. It’s the first device to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which offers durability for long-term use and contains 22 percent pre-consumer recycled content.
