Maintenance Mode is a feature that protects your privacy while someone else is using your phone such as when you’re sending it for repair. Once you enabled this mode, your personal data such as pictures, messages, and accounts can’t be accessed. Only preinstalled apps are available. It basically eliminates the concerns of some private companies accessing or leaking personal information during the repair process.
