Samsung fans have a big concern about the cover screen of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone. In the meantime, a leak started surfing online revealing that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone could feature a squarish cover screen.

Recently, a leak indicated that the new Flip phone’s cover screen will be bigger than the Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 3.26 inches cover screen. Now the same tipster, named Ice Universe, told that the shape of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 cover screen will be close square.

However, he didn’t reveal how this cover display will look on the rear side of the phone or where will it be placed. Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a horizontal rectangular cover display placed just beside the camera module.

It seems like Samsung will place the outer screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 below the camera module because it is the only place where a larger and squarish display can be placed. Although the reality could be different, we don’t know the exact plans of the company.

Moreover, the bigger cover screen of the phone will obviously make various tasks easier to perform. At the same time, it could also bring some additional functionalities to the display, letting the customers do much of their work without unfolding their phones.

Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s cover screen lets you see your current notifications, battery percentage, date, and time in just a few taps and swipes on the screen. Additionally, you can use the quick settings of your phone, reply to notifications, control widgets, open and use Samsung Pay, as well as change the watch face on the cover screen.
