Samsung Galaxy S22 One UI 5.1 update reaches AT&T customers in the US

There’s a good news for Samsung Galaxy S22 customers of AT&T carrier as their phones are now ready to install the One UI 5.1 update. This update is already live for the carrier-unlocked models and international variants of the devices.

Samsung brings a host of new features for your Galaxy S22 with this update. Additionally, you will meet multiple improvements for the older One UI 5.0 features and the fresh February 2023 security patch with better system stability once you fetch this update to the phone.

For your information, the Korean company is releasing the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra One UI 5.1 update with built versions S901USQU2CWAI, S901USQU2CWAI, and S901USQU2CWAI for the AT&T locked customers in the US, respectively.

One UI 5.1 features:

  • Camera and Gallery:

Samsung brings plenty of new features and improvements to the stock One UI Camera and Gallery apps. First of all, it adds quick access to the Expert RAW app on the default camera’s More menu. Additionally, it makes it easy to change the color tone of selfies through the Effects button on the side of the screen.

Into the Gallery, it adds a common family album for easier picture sharing, more powerful searches to search pictures of a specific person, a convenient information display in landscape mode, improved handling, and much more.

  • Widgets:

The Widgets section is another compartment where Samsung has made major changes. The company install a new Battery Widget so that you can get information about your phone and connected Bluetooth devices’ batteries at a glance.

In the meantime, the Dynamic Weather Widget provides a summary of current weather conditions, forecasts, hourly precipitation, severe weather alert, and other information. Whereas, the improved Smart Suggestion Widget recommends a Spotify playlist based on your activities.

  • Multitasking:

One UI 5.1 has made multitasking easier on Galaxy devices. In a Pop view, you can now adjust the window size by dragging the window edges in any direction. Meanwhile, for split-screen, you will see categories for Recent apps and Most used apps, allowing you to quickly select apps for Split Screen.

  • Bixby Text Call:

One UI 5.0 Bixby Text Call feature is supporting the English language with One UI 5.1 update. Now many other users can take advantage of this feature.
