Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets loads of features with One UI 5.1 update
Samsung already started seeding the latest version of One UI for the Galaxy Note 20 series last week in the UK. Now, Verizon is releasing One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US.
Based on Android 13, One UI 5.1 update brings enhancement to Camera, Gallery, Wallpaper, Widgets, Multi-tasking, AR Zone, Bixby Text Call, Samsung Internet, and more to provide a smoother and more amazing Galaxy experience.
In addition to several new features, the update also installs February 2023 security patch to improve system security and stability. As per the patch details, the latest update fixes four dozen vulnerabilities that were harming the files and data saved on the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones are getting the One UI 5.1 update on Verizon with the PDA versions mentioned below.

For the selfie camera, the latest update added a color tone option in the Effects so you can easily change by selecting Natural or Bright. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone will allow you to open the Expert RAW app directly from the camera app after installing the latest update.
You can now adjust the window size by dragging the window edges in any direction in the Pop-Up View. For split view, you’ll see categories for Recent apps and Most used apps, allowing you to quickly select apps for Split Screen.
One UI 5.1 update allows you to extract text available if you pause a video with text information on the screen. GIF Remaster has been added to help you remaster and improve the quality of your GIFs.
The most highlighted part of the One UI 5.1 update is the Battery Widget, which allows you to quickly check the battery life of the smartphone and other connected devices. The company also enhances the Contact and Weather Widgets with the latest One UI update.
To check for the latest update on your Galaxy Note 20 series, open the Settings app, click on the Download and install option under the Software Updates section. If any update is available, you can download and install it by following the on-screen instructions.
