Verizon’s One UI 5.1 update now live for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3

Verizon is releasing One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 3 in the US. This major update includes a lot of new features and enhancements to amplify the performance of the Galaxy devices.

One UI 5.1 update comes with build versions F926USQU2FWAC and  F711USQU3FWB1 for Verizon Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 respectively. The update is currently rolling out for the locked version of these foldable devices in the US.

In addition to several new features, the new update brings the latest security patch released in February 2023 to improve system security, stability, and performance. It fixes 47 CVEs of Google’s Android OS and 7 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.

This major update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 is already available in the UK and now in the US. You can check and install the latest update by visiting Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.

One UI 5.1 Features 

One UI 5.1 is the newest version of Samsung custom skin One UI. It brings a bundle of enhancements for the Camera, Widgets, Multitasking, Wallpaper, and more to provide a next-level experience.

Camera

One UI 5.1 update makes it easier to change the color tone while taking selfies. It adds a new toggle at the top right corner of the camera viewfinder so users can easily adjust the color tone.

Widgets 

Galaxy ecosystem includes Galaxy smartphone, smartwatch, earbuds, S Pen, and more. You can now check how much juice is remaining in your phone as well as all connected devices such as Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds and S Pen on the home screen through the Battery Status Widget.

Dynamic Weather widget also got enhancements and now shows graphical animation based on your location’s weather conditions such as snowing, raining, and cloudy. Last but not least, the Smart Suggestions widget now recommends Spotify tracks as per your habits.

Gallery 

Samsung Gallery’s Image Remaster feature is now also capable of enhancing the upscaling GIF files. You can enhance the quality and sharpness of low-quality GIF files using the new GIF Remaster feature to get even better colors and details.
