Installed One UI 5.1 in your Samsung device?

Last month, One UI 5.1 launched with the brand-new Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Within 15 days, Samsung installed One UI 5.1 in past Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S22 lineup.

Samsung has made several improvements in the feature and system settings to provide you with a better user experience over One UI 5.0. However, consumers have different perspectives and opinions about this software.

But most Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners eagerly waited to grab the One UI 5.1 update to appear on their notification corner. Samsung also understands the excitement among previous device owners and released the update in a fast manner. The expansion is underway and it will make its way to more Samsung smartphones.

Meanwhile, Samsung is sending One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy S22 series, S21 series, Note 20 series, Fold 4, Flip 4, and more. A praisable part of the story reveals that carrier-locked models of these top devices in the U.S. also ignited a fast OTA package.

The new Samsung One UI 5.1 additions include new quick color tone changes for selfies, as well as new optimizations for Expert RAW to take high-quality shots. The image remastering feature is also getting a new kick-in performance.

Moreover, Samsung has revamped the photograph info display, you can now see when and where the picture was captured and which device took the image. Samsung also brought in new multi-tasking optimization, allowing you to easily minimize or switch to full screen without going into the options menu.

Modes, Routines, weather, and Samsung Internet are also in line to upgrade with One UI 5.1 upgrade. Other important aspects of this update also include a new battery widget but there is a lot more that you can explore after installing One UI 5.1.

How to check:

Eligible device owners can continue their search for new firmware via Settings, from here you can navigate to the consequent screen and click on “Download and install”. If there’s an update available, your Galaxy device will initiate the download.
