Samsung Galaxy S20 gets first software update after One UI 5.1

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series has already received the One UI 5.1 update in several countries and the company is now rolling out the first software update for the series smartphones after this major update.

The new update for Galaxy S20 comes with February 2023 security patch to improve system security. In addition, the update enhances the stability and performance of the devices to deliver a better user experience.

The first One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with One UI build versions G981NKSUI2IWB4, G986NKSUI2IWB4, and G988NKSUI2IWB4 respectively.

Users of Galaxy S20 can install the latest update via Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install. The installation package size of this update is 225.71 MB, you can connect your device to Wi-Fi to download the update.

The company has not mentioned any changes in this minor update but it fixes some issues that users were facing after installing the One UI 5.1 update. We recommend Galaxy S20 users install the latest update now to get a smoother experience.

It is worth mentioning that the company is currently rolling out this update in Korea and will soon expand this update to more Galaxy S20 models.
