Samsung makes One UI 5.1 official for Galaxy A51 and A71

The Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy A71 5G join the growing list of Samsung devices getting the feature-rich One UI 5.1 update. Galaxy A51 users got it in South Korea, whereas the Galaxy A71’s update is available in select European countries such as Poland.

One UI 5.1 installs various new features to the years-old Galaxy A series phones to let consumers experience the improved UI and cool new functions. Below you can check some of the top features of One UI 5.1 software that arrived with the latest Samsung Galaxy A51, A71, and A71 5G update:

Camera and Gallery:

Samsung brings a handful of features to the stock One UI Camera and Gallery apps with the latest software version. Your A51 will now let you easily change the color tone of your selfies by selecting Natural or Bright options using the dedicated button on the screen.

Meanwhile, the Gallery app is getting GIF Remaster, Extract Text from the video feature, Detailed view of your photo or video, easier searching and sharing, improved handling, and more.

Widgets:

The fresh update installs a new Battery widget to display your phone and connected devices’ battery status effortlessly. The Dynamic Weather widget provides the current weather support, forecasts, and more. And, the improved Smart suggestion widget now recommends you a Spotify playlist.

Multitasking:

Samsung has significantly improved multitasking with One UI 5.1. You can now adjust the window size by dragging the window edges in any direction in the pop-up view. Meanwhile, you will see categories for Recent apps and Most used apps, allowing you to quickly select apps for Split Screen.
