Original story…

Samsung unexpectedly begins One UI 5.1 update rollout for the Galaxy S10 Lite users in Spain and Italy. There was no chance of this incredible firmware’s arrival on the Lite model of the legendary Galaxy S10 series, but the company just re-proved that it’s the best after-sales service provider.

The latest One UI 5.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite comes with rich new features and improvements. Since the company is expanding this incremental update to various non-flagship models, we demanded the same treatment of the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite devices too.

Last year, the Galaxy S10 Lite received the major Android 13 update and finished its OS software support. The Android 13 update brought the One UI 5.0 interface, however, the One UI 5.1 is an additional gift for smartphone users.

In the past, Samsung updated Galaxy Watch 5 and the changelog revealed that One UI 5.1 will be available on Galaxy models launched after the Galaxy S20 series. It became a quite disappointing move for consumers, but in reality, they are receiving the One UI 5.1 features too.

The Galaxy S10 Lite users can identify the One UI 5.1 firmware through PDA build version – G770FXXU6HWB4. It also includes the latest February 2023 security patch. What’s New

The One UI 5.1 makes it easier to change the color tone while taking selfies. It comes with a new toggle at the top right corner of the camera viewfinder so users can easily adjust the color tone. Samsung Gallery’s Image Remaster feature is now also capable of enhancing the upscaling GIF files.

Inspired by Google’s Call Screen, the Samsung Bixby Text Call feature allows you to attend a call without having verbal communication. Samsung introduced the Bixby Text Call feature with the One UI 5.0 iteration, but One UI 5.1 brings English language support.

Thanks to the new Battery Status widget, you can now check how much juice is remaining in your phone as well as all connected devices such as Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds and S Pen on the home screen. Don’t miss: How to add One UI 5.1 Battery widget on lock screen

One UI 5.1 brings enhancements to the Pop-up view and Split screen view, taking the user experience to another level. In Pop-Up view, you can now drag and drop the window edges to change the size, while there’s a new section that shows the Most used apps in Split view.
