Samsung is widely rolling out the March 2023 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 customers in the US. Both the carrier-locked and carrier-unlocked models of the devices are getting this update in the country.

Samsung’s March 2023 update mainly improves the system security to protect your phone from bugs and viruses and keep your private files and data safe on the device. Additionally, it optimizes the system’s stability so that you get a seamless user experience.

Aside from these common enhancements, Samsung also addresses multiple dangerous exposures affecting users’ privacy. The list of common vulnerability exposures (CVEs) includes:

  1. Critical – 5
  2. High – 35
  3. Moderate – 0
  4. Already fixed – 4
  5. Not applicable – 5

In addition, there are 23 Galaxy-specific SVEs (Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures) that are fixed with the latest software update. You can now enjoy the fresh offering for system security and privacy on your Galaxy foldable phone.

Software versions:

How to access:
