Here’s how it’s crucial:

Earlier this month, the company revealed that its March patch brings fixes for five critical common vulnerability exposers. Moreover, there are fixes for about three dozen high-level CVEs for the Android operating system by Google.

For additional reliability, the Korean tech giant has included 26 SVE (patches to One UI). These Galaxy-exclusive patches include improvements for the native Phone app, System UI, Samsung Keyboard, Galaxy Themes, and more. You can read about it in detail here.

Since the rollout is happening gradually, the carrier may take some time to announce a wider availability. Meanwhile, we hope that other US carriers may soon debut the March patches for their Galaxy S20 series for better security and user privacy.
