Here’s how to use Samsung Reminder app’s newly added features

Samsung just recently released March 2023 update for the Reminder app, which adds new features to the app. Identified via version 12.4.03.8, you can install the latest update via Galaxy Store to enjoy new features.

The newest version of Samsung Reminder adds an Edit Category button to More options and the View details button on the lock screen to check notifications.

In this article, you can check how to use these newly added Reminder features on your Galaxy smartphone.

How to edit Category:

There are three ways to edit the categories you’ve created.

Method 1:

  • Open the ‘Navigation Menu’. Long press the category you want to edit. An option of the Edit category appears, press on it.

Method 2:

  • Open the Navigation Menu. At the bottom, click the Manage Categories option. Tap the category you want to edit. With the latest update, an easier and faster way to edit has been added.

Method 3

  • Select the category you want to edit from the Menu option >> Click on More options (next to the magnifying glass) >> Press Edit.

View Details for Hidden Content Notification 

When the ‘Hide content’ notification setting is on in the lock screen notification settings, then a notification will appear with the title ‘Hidden content’. If you unlock the lock screen after tapping the title, you can check the detailed content of the reminder.

So now, you can quickly check which app is ringing the notification, a notification will ring with the title of ‘Scheduled Reminder’.

If you’re curious about the contents of the notification, press the button labeled ‘Details’ and leave the lock screen to quickly check it out.
