Today, Huawei launched its new P60 Pro flagship along with the vanilla P60, P60 Art, and Mate X3 foldable smartphone. The new device comes with promising camera capabilities, on paper, as Huawei bets on P60 Pro to somehow damage Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s supremacy.

Huawei P60 Pro starts at 6,988 yuan (~ $1050) and lacks 5G network support due to US restrictions. Still, the Chinese phone maker is putting efforts to keep its smartphone business alive, by introducing new technologies that we heard never before.

As per Huawei Central, Huawei’s new P60 Pro is the world’s first super-spotting main camera, equipped with an RYYB super-sensing sensor and support for ten-level variable apertures from F1.4-4.0. It also introduces a new XD Fusion Pro texture engine to improve sensitivity and clarity, clearly capturing dark nights shimmer.

Adding to this, the Huawei P60 Pro packs the world’s first super-concentrating night vision telephoto with a super large aperture of F2.1, which can easily shoot ultra-clear night scene videos, and the imaging capabilities have gone a step further.

Despite promising camera abilities, the Huawei P60 Pro is unlikely to be available in the United States. However, Huawei might not keep it China-exclusive as the company still believes that select European and Southeast Asian markets (India excluded) may prove beneficial.

Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, brings the world’s most powerful camera capabilities that are proven. Various reputed reviewers praised Samsung’s latest camera beast as it packs a number of practical functionalities such as a 200-megapixel lens, deep machine learning, and more.

The smartphone comes with an intelligent 200-megapixel primary image sensor, which delivers crispy, blur-free, and high-resolution images. Moreover, there’s a dual Telephoto sensor system, letting you capture close-up shots with the least distortion.
