Recently, Huawei launched its new phones and everyone is comparing them with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 or S23 Ultra but the real answer is that these phones are just empty boxes in the global market without Google apps.

So the selling point of the latest Huawei smartphones is the camera, satellite connectivity, and glittery design. The Huawei P60 and Mate X3 are two expensive devices with no added value for global consumers.

All because of two core functionalities that Samsung offers including Google apps and 5G. After the U.S. banned Huawei for alleged spying on customers, Huawei’s liability is crushed around the globe. Then, the company saw a sharp decline in its smartphone market and it’s now out of the global trends.

The lack of Google apps doubts consumers and they don’t want to spend on Huawei devices that can’t do anything at all. On the other hand, they are fleeing over to other brands including Samsung.

A friend of mine with a Huawei P50 Pro told share his experience. He said Huawei has nothing in its phone, there are stock apps and these are unuseful. The pre-installed AppGallery app store has no useful apps.

Furthermore, his phone only has 4G, which is lackluster in the 5G era. All combined, it’s just a heavily priced box that could be used for calling and some sort of photography.

There’s one major aspect of these phones includes software support, there’s no Android support. Meanwhile, global users are still waiting for a major upgrade since last year. There’s no schedule to roll out new firmware and software updates are delayed for months for even Huawei’s premium models.

So as an answer from Samsung smartphone users to people who are bragging about the innovation of new Huawei phones without Google apps and 5G are nothing more than just some expensive empty boxes that have no value in the global market.
