Samsung starts rolling out March 2023 security update to the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra 5G in India. The latest patch expands in India, over two weeks after its initial debut in the United States. Consumers may have been waiting for the April release and the company is just bringing the March patch.
Last month, the South Korean tech giant released the feature-packed One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra in India. Compared to the previous release, the patch OTA feels too tiny, and it’s really a tiny package, which just brings security improvements.
For the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is reportedly testing a big camera optimization update. Since the Note 20 series has also upgraded to the One UI 5.1, we hope the company may offer optimized camera performance with its next update to the lineup.
Android 13 was the last major OS upgrade for the Galaxy Note 20 series, similar to the Galaxy S20 series. Samsung has released a new update with the November 2024 security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones. The update is available for users in Korea and the company will soon expand it to more countries.

The fresh security patch fixes 52 vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung software. Google has patched 38 high-level issues, and one CVE doesn’t apply to Galaxy devices. Samsung has also addressed 13 issues, including bugs related to multiple users, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and Settings.
