Samsung is about to complete the One UI 5.1 rollout, which will help it start preparation for the next One UI version. Galaxy users are completely unaware of what One UI 6.0 would look like, while, we’ve gathered inputs about 7 features that may be coming this year.

Galaxy users actively participate in Samsung’s Beta programs and give feedback to make the software stable, and bug-free. Ahead of One UI 6.0 Beta, Samsung fans are sharing features concepts and demanding the company to bring them in the next One UI version.

The company’s US community moderator is actively hearing consumers’ feedback alongside complaints and suggestions. The forum manager promises users to tag their One UI 6.0 features suggestion on the forum so that it will appear with other feedback, ideas, and requests.

Since the feature’s arrival with the next One UI still remains a mystery, there are high hopes as tagging suggestions to the forum will allow the developer team to consider and apply demanded changes if they are seeking outside feedback/requests/ideas regarding Samsung products.

7 features that One UI 6.0 could bring

1. Samsung Phone App

It would be beneficial to have a conference or party button, which enables the use of a microphone and speaker while the Bluetooth device is connected and in use. Dual input and output during calls to include other individuals in a conversation.

This provides the ability to include other people in the conversation you are on without waiting for the Bluetooth to disconnect, or if you need to confer for a moment without including others, for it to reconnect and then disconnect again.

2. Document “Read Text Aloud”

A Samsung user wants the company to bring Adobe Acrobat document reader-like function with the One UI 6.0 so it will read docs like PDF files aloud. It’s a basic yet cool feature, letting users listen to the document in an automated voice using machine learning.

3. Samsung Notes

It would be great to have a way to automatically sort folders in alphabetical order. Notably, a similar feature is already available in the Notes app that can be accessed from the right side through the Up or Down arrow, followed by the Filter option.

4. Samsung Messages

It would be greatly appreciated if the ability to “stop, & or cancel messages before sending” could be added to the Samsung Messages app. Some third-party apps allow you to stop or cancel messages before sending them to the second party, however, it’s a great idea to be applied in One UI 6.

5. S Pen

Samsung improved the S Pen’s usability and upgraded the experience with the launch of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. With the One UI 6.0, Samsung should add drag and drop hovering for content, using the S Pen’s pointer. When the button is pressed for a certain time over text to activate the drag and drop feature.

For instance, if you hover the S Pen on text content and press and hold the button, the One UI would activate the drag and drop feature. Once done, you will be able to take the text and use it anywhere you want, by activating the Split screen mode.

6. Samsung Health

A Galaxy user suggested bringing a barcode scanning feature in the Samsung Health app to scan food and nutrition stuff.

7. Modes and Routines

One UI 5 update brings fruitful upgrades to the iconic Modes and Routines functions, while users want the ability to reorder or sort the list of modes with the next One UI version.
