Samsung Galaxy A52 joins April 2023 update party

Samsung Galaxy A52 users started receiving a new update with April 2023 security patch. The new update improves system security and stability by installing the latest Android security patch.

Identified via version A525MUBS5DWC1, the update comes with an installation package size of over 224.06 megabytes. The update is currently rolling out in Brazil and it may take time to reach all eligible devices as it is an initial rollout.

According to the official details, Samsung’s April 2023 patch mends a bunch of common vulnerability exposures including but not limited to 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate. Notably, Google found 4 more vulnerabilities, which are not applicable to Samsung Galaxy devices.

The latest firmware is based on One UI 5.1, which means if you have installed the major One UI version on the Galaxy A52 smartphone then you will get a notification of this new update. We recommend users to install the update to get bug-free experience.
