Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 cover screen measures 3.4-inch, 3.8-inch claim is fake?
Recently, a reliable source revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip5 equips a whopping 3.8-inch large cover screen, while, another trusted Samsung source claimed that the screen measures 3.4-inch. As both sources are trusted and reputed in the industry, there’s high confusion on display size.
According to IceUniverse, he has 100 percent authentic input that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 cover screen size is 3.4-inch, not the recently rumored 3.8-inch. Beyond that, Ice revealed that the main screen of Flip5 and both screens of the Fold5 are the same as their predecessors.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 features a 3.4-inch outer display, and a 6.7-inch internal screen and weighs 187 grams. The Galaxy Z Fold5 brings a 6.2-inch cover screen, and a 7.6-inch main screen and weighs 254g, which is just similar to the Galaxy Z Fold4.
Thanks to the new waterdrop hinge design, the Galaxy Z Fold5 feels quite lighter and thinner when folded. The middle area gap completely vanished and the crease visibility could also be reduced. Other than this, the source didn’t share any more info about upgrades and areas of improvement.
Earlier, both upcoming foldable phones visited Geekbench running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. Even in initial testing, both devices surpassed the Galaxy S23 Ultra in single and multi-core tests. It’s expected that the company has further optimized the chipset to improve performance.
Probably, the South Korean tech giant will introduce the next-generation Galaxy foldables in August 2023. Alongside phones, Samsung might unveil more gadgets at its mega show such as the Galaxy Watch6, Galaxy Buds3 Pro and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
